How the Points System Works

Applicants need at least 6 points from the following criteria:

What You Can Do

The Opportunity Card allows you to:

  • Stay in Germany for up to 1 year
  • Work part-time (up to 20 hours/week) while job searching
  • Attend interviews and trial work periods

Once you secure a qualifying job offer, you can switch to a regular work visa.
