The Tourism Visa (Visto de Turismo) is the standard entry permit for foreign nationals wishing to visit Angola for recreational, sporting, cultural, or family-related purposes. This visa allows travelers to experience the country's diverse landscapes, historical sites, and cultural heritage while ensuring they remain in compliance with Angolan immigration laws. It is important to note that the Tourism Visa strictly prohibits the holder from engaging in any form of paid employment or establishing permanent residence within the national territory. The visa must be used within a specified timeframe, typically sixty days from the date of issuance.

To apply for a Tourism Visa, travelers must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond their intended stay and possess at least two blank pages for entry stamps. Key requirements include proof of accommodation, such as a hotel reservation or a formal letter of invitation from a resident in Angola, and evidence of sufficient funds to cover the duration of the stay. A travel itinerary, including a return or onward flight ticket, is also mandatory. The fee for this visa is generally USD 120, and it allows for a stay of up to thirty days, which may be extended once for an additional thirty-day period under specific conditions.
