Stay Permit - Mobile ICT

The Stay Permit – Mobile ICT allows intra-corporate transferees who already hold a valid ICT permit from another EU member state to transfer to an Austrian branch within the same corporate group. This is a streamlined mobility pathway for managers, specialists, and trainees positioned within multinational companies.

The permit is issued for durations matching the original ICT permit, capped by its residual validity—up to three years for managers and specialists, one year for trainees. A EUR 218 application fee applies; processing takes approximately 56 days. Dependents may accompany; spouses are restricted to employment within the same corporate entity. The permit is renewable.

This visa is ideal for experienced corporate personnel already authorized to work in the EU under an ICT permit who require temporary assignment to Austria within their multinational employer.
