Sponsor must be a Finnish citizen or have been granted refugee status, subsidiary protection status, or a residence permit based on temporary protection.

Must be fully dependent on the sponsor and have previously led a close family life with the sponsor.

Denying the permit must be deemed unreasonable under the specific circumstances.
