Indonesia's E33G Remote Worker Visa (Visa Pekerja Jarak Jauh) is a limited-stay permit issued by the Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi for foreigners working remotely for companies established outside Indonesia. Applicants must show an employment contract with a foreign employer, income of at least USD 60,000 per year, and a bank statement averaging USD 2,000 over the last three months.
The visa is valid for entry within 90 days of issuance and grants a limited stay permit of up to 1 year, with online extensions available via evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Total PNBP fees are IDR 7,000,000 (covering visa, verification, stay permit and re-entry permit), processing takes about 5 business days after payment, and holders may not earn income from any Indonesian source.
This visa is ideal for high-earning remote employees of overseas companies who want to base themselves in Indonesia for up to a year without taking local work.
