Index C15 — Emergency Worker Visa (Index C15)

The Emergency Worker Visa (Index C15) is a specialized single-entry visa granted to foreign experts, technicians, or professionals who must enter Indonesia immediately to address critical, time-sensitive situations. This visa is reserved for scenarios where the individual's presence is essential and cannot be delegated, such as responding to natural disasters, repairing critical machinery that could cause significant economic loss, or providing aid during civil unrest. It serves as a fast-track mechanism to ensure that essential personnel can reach the site of an emergency without the delays associated with standard work visas.

While the visa is intended for urgent intervention, it is not a work permit for standard employment; the holder is prohibited from receiving wages from Indonesian companies. The visa is valid for an initial stay of 60 days and can be extended twice, each for 60 days, if the emergency situation persists. Applicants must be sponsored by an Indonesian entity or government agency that can verify the nature of the emergency and the necessity of the applicant's immediate arrival.
