Stamp 2A is a permission for full-time study in Ireland for courses not listed on the Interim List of qualifying Programmes (ILEP).

Stamp 2A is designed for non-EEA nationals pursuing full-time education in Ireland for programs not included on the ILEP. It is a restrictive status that prohibits all forms of employment and does not count toward naturalization. Holders must maintain private medical insurance and demonstrate sufficient funds for the duration of their stay.
