FF — Family Visa (Type F)

The Family Visa (Type F) is a dedicated category designed to facilitate family reunification for foreign nationals who are already legally residing in the Kyrgyz Republic under specific long-term visa classifications. This visa is primarily intended for the spouse, minor children, and dependent parents of individuals holding valid Investment (Type I), Employment (Type W), or Study (Type S) visas. By providing this option, the Kyrgyz government ensures that primary visa holders can maintain a stable family life while pursuing their professional, educational, or investment objectives within the country.

The issuance of a Family Visa is directly linked to the validity period of the primary visa holder's permit, typically allowing for a stay of up to one year with the possibility of annual extensions. Applicants must provide official documentation, such as marriage or birth certificates, to prove their familial relationship, along with a copy of the primary visa holder's residence permit or visa. While this visa grants the right to reside in Kyrgyzstan, it generally does not authorize the holder to engage in independent labor or entrepreneurial activities, focusing instead on supporting the family unit during their stay.
