The Long-Term Social Visit Pass (LTSVP) for family members is Malaysia's pathway for parents, parents-in-law, and unmarried children under 25 of Employment Pass holders to reside together. Sponsored by the EP holder's employer, it provides legal status for extended family reunification without work authorization.
The pass is valid for the duration of the principal's EP and is renewable. Processing takes 3 working days for Tier 1, 2, and Critical Sector companies. The fee is RM 500 (plus 8% SST = RM 540 total). Dependents may not work independently and must maintain their tie to the primary pass holder.
This visa is ideal for parents and adult children of expatriate professionals who want to maintain family unity while working on long-term assignments in Malaysia.
Must be a family member (parent, parent-in-law, or unmarried child over 21) of an Employment Pass (EP) holder.

Applicant must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity.
Relationship must be proven via official birth or marriage certificates.
