The Residence Pass-Talent (RP-T) is a prestigious 10-year residence pass for high-achieving expatriate talent in Malaysia. Employer-independent, it allows holders to work without company ties and change employers freely. qualification requires 3 years Malaysia employment, RM15,000+ monthly salary, 5+ total work years, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 2 years of paid income tax.
The pass is renewable via RP-T renewal or post-10-year programs. Spouses have unrestricted work rights, and children under 18 qualify as dependents. Fees total RM6,000 (RM500 application, RM5,000 processing, RM500 immigration). Processing takes 21 working days for complete applications, with notification within 10 working days.
