Couples with a Singaporean child generally qualify; others are assessed on marriage duration and sponsor finances.

Initial validity is 3 years, renewable for up to 5 years per renewal. Fees total SGD 105 (SGD 45 on submission, SGD 60 on issuance). Processing takes about 6 months, or 6 weeks if the Pre-Marriage LTVP Assessment was completed first. Holders work via a Letter of Consent or Pre-approved LOC from MOM, are not counted in employer quotas, and may continue applying for PR or citizenship.
