Must be traveling under the Ottawa Agreement (1951) or Paris Protocol (1952)
Non-member variant: applicant from a non-NATO country participating in a NATO-sponsored mission or HQ activity
Must be acting in official NATO mission capacity only
Immediate family members (spouse, unmarried children) also qualify under NATO-5
Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity beyond intended stay)
