Missionary's Entry Permit

The Missionary's Entry Permit is issued to non-citizens who are duly ordained, licensed, or certified ministers, clergy, or missionaries affiliated with a recognized religious organization. This permit allows religious professionals to enter and reside in the Federated States of Micronesia to perform their ministerial duties and engage in activities substantially connected to their religious work. The permit is typically valid for one year, reflecting the ongoing nature of religious service, and is subject to the immigration regulations of the FSM regarding the documentation of bona fide religious status.

To be qualifying for this permit, the applicant must provide formal documentation proving their ordination, licensing, or certification from a legitimate religious institution. Furthermore, the applicant must secure sponsorship from a religious organization operating within or recognized by the FSM, which serves as the primary entity responsible for the missionary's activities. As with other entry permits, the applicant must also submit standard documentation, including a valid passport, medical clearance, and police clearance, to ensure compliance with national health and security requirements.
