The France Passeport Talent – Renommée Nationale ou Internationale grants a multi-year permit to nationals with proven renown in science, literature, arts, education, or sport. No job offer is needed; applicants must present a project in France exceeding three months and income at or above the SMIC (€21,876/year).
The permit lasts up to 4 years and is renewable. After five years of legal residence, holders can apply for a 10-year carte de résident. The applicant's spouse receives unrestricted work rights, and children under 18 may join the family. Fees are €99 for the visa plus €225 for the residence card.
This visa is ideal for accomplished artists, researchers, authors, or elite athletes with verifiable national or international recognition seeking independent work in France.
