Tourist Visa (تأشيرة سياحية)

The Lebanon Tourist Visa is a short-term entry authorization designed for individuals visiting the country for leisure, family visits, or short-term business meetings. For many nationalities, this visa can be obtained upon arrival at Beirut International Airport or other ports of entry, typically valid for an initial period of one month. The visa fills the gap for temporary visitors, allowing them to explore the country or conduct non-remunerative professional activities without the need for complex, long-term residency documentation.

This visa is ideal for international travelers who do not intend to work or reside permanently in Lebanon. To be qualifying, applicants must generally hold a passport valid for at least six months, possess a return or onward travel ticket, and provide proof of accommodation. A notable requirement is the demonstration of financial stability, often evidenced by holding at least 2,000 USD in cash or equivalent funds. While initially valid for one month, it can often be extended for an additional two months at the General Security office, provided the visitor maintains their tourist status.
