Graduate Pass (Social Visit Pass - Graduate)

The Graduate Pass is a 12-month post-study work visa for international graduates from 32 qualifying countries who completed a Bachelor's degree or higher at a Malaysian institution. It requires no employer sponsor, allowing graduates to job-search, intern, or volunteer. Applicants need a valid Student Pass, active health insurance, and a personal bond with a Malaysian citizen (≥RM 1,500/month).

Main fee is RM 600 per applicant (RM 600 per dependent). Processing takes 14 working days. Graduates may work in permitted sectors; dependents may reside but spouses cannot work independently. The pass is non-renewable and does not lead directly to permanent residence, though graduates may convert to employment pass categories with sponsorship.

This visa is ideal for Bachelor's degree holders from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, or the US seeking post-graduation work experience without immediate employer commitment.
