Overview

One-year facilitation sticker for frequent Singapore-Malaysia commuters and Iskandar Malaysia workers holding valid long-term passes, enabling expedited border crossings.

The Malaysia-ASEAN Corridor Sticker (MACS) is a facilitation enhancement for frequent travelers between Malaysia and Singapore holding valid long-term passes. Rather than a visa, it enables expedited border clearance via RFID stickers at designated checkpoints, eliminating manual passport stamping, preserving pages, and accelerating immigration processing.

Valid one year from issuance, MACS requires annual renewal while the underlying long-term pass remains valid with at least six months' remaining validity. Open to investors, business professionals, and long-term pass holders. Application fee is RM30; processing is same-day. In-person application at the IRDA office is required for facial recognition via the online appointment system (STO).

This visa is ideal for frequent business commuters and long-term residents crossing the Malaysia-Singapore border regularly who wish to reduce immigration delays.

  • Low cost at RM 30 with no additional work authorization restrictions
  • Accessible to all nationalities holding valid long-term Malaysian passes

Worth Knowing

  • Not a visa or immigration pass—merely a facilitation sticker for existing pass holders
  • Valid only at two designated Johor-Singapore checkpoints; not usable elsewhere
