Tourism or short business visits in Singapore via e-Pass issued at entry; visa-free for many nationalities, 14-90 day stay, no employment.
The Singapore Short-Term Visit Pass (STVP) is an e-Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority at the point of entry for tourism, social visits, medical treatment, or short business activities like meetings and conferences. Many nationalities receive it visa-free; others must obtain a Singapore visa in advance.
Initial stay runs 14 to 90 days depending on nationality, and the pass forbids any paid or unpaid employment. Extensions are filed online with ICA when 14 days or less remain on the pass and are processed within five working days; SGD 40 applies once total stay reaches 90 days. There is no path to permanent residence.
This visa is ideal for tourists, family visitors and short-trip business travellers needing low-friction, work-free entry to Singapore.
