Short-term Singapore work pass for foreign students or company trainees doing up to 3 months of structured practical training.
Singapore's Training Employment Pass (TEP) is a short-term work pass from the Ministry of Manpower for foreign students or trainees from overseas offices undergoing practical training for professional, managerial, executive or specialist roles at a sponsoring Singapore employer.
The pass is valid for up to 3 months, is not renewable, and offers no dependent passes. Applicants need a fixed monthly salary of at least SGD 3,000 (waived for students at an acceptable institution). Total fees are SGD 330 (SGD 105 application + SGD 225 issuance); MOM processes most cases within 3 weeks.
This visa is ideal for foreign students or company trainees with a short, structured training placement and a Singapore employer willing to sponsor.
