Launched in 2024, Turkiye's Digital Nomad Visa is a dedicated entry permit for remote professionals working for non-Turkish employers or freelance clients. It is open only to nationals of 37 designated countries (EU/EEA, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Russia, Ukraine) who are aged 21-55, hold a university degree, and earn at least USD 3,000 per month.
Applicants obtain a Digital Nomad Identification Certificate via digitalnomads.goturkiye.com, then file at visa.gov.tr and attend a consular interview; processing takes up to 30 days post-interview. Stays beyond 90 days require a short-term residence permit. Working for Turkish-resident companies is barred, and EUR 30,000+ health insurance is mandatory. Fees vary by nationality.
