870 — Sponsored Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 870)

The Sponsored Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 870) lets parents of Australian citizens, permanent residents, or qualifying New Zealand citizens live temporarily in Australia for 3 or 5 years. The parent cannot work and must maintain private health insurance throughout their stay.
