Fees are AUD 6,370 for a 3-year stay or AUD 12,440 for 5 years, paid in two instalments, plus a AUD 420 sponsor fee. The visa is renewable to a cumulative maximum of 10 years, with a 90-day gap outside Australia required between applications. There is no PR pathway.

Sponsor must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or qualifying New Zealand citizen settled for 4+ years

Sponsor must meet the minimum household taxable income threshold of AUD 83,454.80

Must be outside Australia when applying and when the visa is granted (unless an in-Australia permission is granted)

Must maintain adequate health insurance for the entire stay
