The EUR 152 permit is non-renewable for 12 months. Processing takes up to 90 days. Holders receive an A-card marked 'werk zoeken'/'recherche d'emploi' with unrestricted labour market access—no separate work permit needed. Dependents may reside; spouses have work rights. Those securing employment need an employer-sponsored Single Permit; those starting a business require a Professional Card.
