Global Talent Visa

The UK Global Talent visa is for leaders and high-potential individuals in academia, research, arts and culture, or digital technology, run by the Home Office. No job offer is required: applicants qualify via endorsement from an approved body or by holding a qualifying prestigious prize, and there is no annual cap.

Grants run up to 5 years and are renewable indefinitely. The application fee is £766 (£561 endorsement + £205 visa) plus an Immigration Health Surcharge of £1,035 per year. Processing is about 3 weeks from outside the UK and 8 weeks inside; partners and children can join and work without restriction, and ILR is available after 3 or 5 years depending on field.

This visa is ideal for researchers, artists, and digital-tech specialists who are leaders or rising stars in their field and want to work in the UK without employer sponsorship.
