The Business Visitor Visa is designed for professionals and business representatives visiting Namibia for short-term engagements that do not constitute 'work' under Namibian immigration law. This includes attending business meetings, participating in workshops, attending conferences, or conducting exploratory visits to identify potential investment or partnership opportunities. It is a strictly non-remunerative visa, meaning the holder cannot be paid by a Namibian entity or perform tasks that would otherwise be done by a local employee, such as technical training or audits.

Applicants are required to provide comprehensive documentation, including formal invitation letters from Namibian counterparts and motivation letters from their own organizations, to clearly define the scope and duration of their visit. This visa ensures that business travelers can enter the country legally to facilitate trade and professional networking. Those intending to perform actual work, provide specialized services, or engage in long-term projects must apply for a separate work visa or employment permit, as the Business Visitor Visa does not permit such activities.
