The Post-Graduation Job-Seeker Visa, formally known as a long-term residence permit for the purpose of seeking employment or starting a business, was introduced to help retain international talent. Regulated under Act No. 326/1999 Coll., this permit addresses the gap between the end of a student's academic life and their transition into the local labor market. It allows graduates to remain in the country legally for up to nine months to search for professional opportunities or establish a business, preventing the immediate loss of skilled individuals after graduation.
