Overview
Permanent residency by investment for global investors committing at least S$10M to a Singapore business, S$25M to a GIP-select fund, or running a S$200M family office.
The Global Investor Programme (GIP) is Singapore's flagship route to direct Permanent Residence by investment, administered by Contact Singapore at the Economic Development Board. It targets established entrepreneurs, next-gen owners, fast-growth founders, and family-office principals in EDB-listed industries.
Applicants commit via one of three routes: S$10M in a new or expanded Singapore business, S$25M in a GIP-select fund, or a Singapore Single Family Office with S$200M AUM. A S$20,000 application fee (revised May 2025) plus S$100 ICA fee applies, and EDB takes around 12 months. The 5-year Re-Entry Permit is renewable, and unmarried children under 21 qualify as dependants.
This visa is ideal for established entrepreneurs and family-office principals who can deploy eight-figure Singapore-dollar capital and want direct PR with a route to citizenship.
